Springing Jeket
The springing jeket is a large cat of about 800lbs that roams in small prides across the savannahs of Etnyben. It is uniquely different from other animals because its hind legs have three knees and ankles. This allows it to jump to extremely great distances and heights. The front legs are much shorter and the paws have oversized claws to both grab and kill its prey.
The springing jeket's fur color varies from green to tan so it can hide in the grass. Its underside is white. It also has grey ovoid markings scattered across its back. There are reports of a rare mutation which causes the fur to be bluish in color.
They hunt facing toward the sun so no shadow gives them away when they jump high and come down on their unsuspecting prey. Travelers are advised to avoid lands with springing jekets because they probably will not see the cat attack until it is too late.
