Incident at Cott

The incident at Cott took place on Pelthe 19, 614 [2:122]. It started when a Lunari named Zhethou appeared in a tavern filled with pirates. A number of them fled, some stood in fear, and three of them were told of their future and how they would one day defeat the pirate Overlord.

Having heard the news, the Overlord, who happened to be visiting that city at the time, secretly took his troops and traveled west through a forest. He then started a fire which the wind fanned into a massive firestorm that swept through the forest and into the city of Cott three days later. Many innocent people were killed, but the three pirates escaped after being warned by Zhethou.
