Vernon is a country of Panei along the western coast. It is surrounded with the Ozo Mountains to the north, the Dark Forest to the east, and Pia to the south. It is seperated from Pia by the River Kis. The capital city of Vernon is Uphany.
Vernon became an independent nation in the year 2984 [5:43], the year after Panei, under the leadership of King Ades, declared itself an independed land. Vernon's primary rival in Panei was Nerak, and the two great nations were constantly at war until the arrival of the Dark Magicians in 4556 [8:0].
In 5800 [9:110], Pia peacefully declared its independence from Vernon, and the two nations used the River Kis as their border.
