Pirates

Pirates are usually so named because they have chosen to spend their lives sailing the seas. Many are actually well respected merchants and make a decent profit from their business. There are not many that take to raiding and pillaging, but that has not kept others from looking at pirates contemptuously. In Sarda especially, the Barbidons consider pirates to be scum. This is probably because many pirates inhabit the Sardan West Isles.

Pirates have their own unique language called tikar.
