White Pillar

The White Pillar.

The White Pillar was a tall structure just south of Atalan. It functioned as a lighthouse during the evening, and was always used as a base of operations for the Sisterhood of Jadela'Mar to keep them from having to live within the city limits of Atalan. The White Pillar also had a tunnel linking it to the quarry beneath Atalan where the white rock had been quarried for its construction. The White Pillar was partially demolished when Mara'Uto defeated the Dark Wizard Gerzh in 4003 [6:501]. It was later rebuilt, but was finally completely destroyed by the great earthquake that submerged Atalan in 6035 [9:345].
