Mara'Uto was an Awaan girl who traveled across Tanarad in the year 4003 to warn the Great King at Atalan of the coming invasion by the Dark Wizard Gerzh. Her father was Remen'Fu and her mother was Tamu'Eda.

With the unexpected help of Shime'Kar, Mara'Uto went on to be the first of the Awa to join the Sisterhood of Jadela'Mar.
