The five brothers were well reputed leaders of Tanarad. They were also skilled warriors. During the reign of Great King Belgrave, they were appointed as governors over the five regions of Tanarad. They also twice aided King Belgrave in escapes from the Dark Wizard Voth. It was during the second escape that they were captured and subsequently tortured and executed by the Dark Wizard.
It is often wondered why their mother named them what she did. It is also wondered if there is any relation between their names and the thagegigogug beast that lives in Sarda.
