This is one of the more vicious carnivorous plants. It is rare outside of the Razhin Jungle of Etnyben but is thought to also grow in the humid dark of the Dark Forest and Dark Valley. The plant itself is a thick stalk from which grows several arms similar to those of a praying mantis. They have razor-sharp spines and will close on prey with lightning speed. Those who have explored the jungle say it is not uncommon to find even large animals being slowly digested alive while trapped in the grasp of the plant.

The name of the plant was derived from a woman named Heptu'Non around the year 1067 [2:575]. She was abandoned at the edges of the desert at a young age and spent a year alone in the jungle. She was later taken in by a small village of outcasts who had survived the first battle of Nazada. They likened her to the plant since she would lie in wait for food and snatch it with speedy reflexes.
