Lake Corpiscus

Lake Corpiscus is located in Sarda. It is surrounded by the Crescent Mountains on almost all sides and the Dark Wasteland on the southwest. In the center of the Lake is a large mountain which Voth carved into a castle. It is said that the spoonfish of Lake Corpiscus are more ravenous than anywhere else in the world.

There are rumors of unknown origin which claim the lake is bottomless. The primary argument against this is that if it were bottomless, how is there a mountain in the center of it? Those who hold to this rumor claim the mountain may be held in place by large "roots" of rock which spread to the land around the lake. It is also said that if the lake is bottomless, the dark depths would be the perfect place for the Dark Lunari to remain hidden until their time comes.
