Dark Valley

The Dark Valley runs from north to south across Tanarad, splitting the land in half. It was formed in 6035 by a great earthquake which also destroyed the city of Atalan. Underneath the Dark Valley is a large cavern in which some of the survivors of Atalan built a hidden city called Elevor. It was abandoned a few centuries later as its citizens were called to fight against the armies of Voth.

Aboveground, the Dark Valley is covered with a thick fog which helps give the place its name. Few dare travel through the dark places and it is not known what all may live in that place.
