Nazada was the dark fortress built as the antithesis of Atalan in the year 492 [2:0]. It was destroyed by an assault by the Great King Emanpugnikam in the year 1993 [2:1501]. It is believed that its name originated from the Lunari words "naza" and "da" which together mean "cold city".

Prophecy
Two kingdoms rise, two forces fight.
Two cities built, two kings oppose.
Darkness will spread, light will resist.

Dark Prophecy
They rise on darkened ice
To power they gather

Purpose

Nazada was built as both a gathering place the dark enemies as well as a staging point for all of their attacks. Under the rule of Mathol, the fortress was extremely busy, with soldiers of darkness coming and going at all times of the day.

Battles

The First Battle of Nazada

Prophecy
A city shines, great kings arise.
One million strong, the battle lose.
Fight for glory, die in shame.

Dark Prophecy
Affray the overconfident undevout
Valor renewed is crushed

Great King Darthan led the first attack against the dark fortress in 1059 [2:567]. Despite bringing an army which numbered at least one million strong, Darthan was defeated and killed in that battle. Few soldiers survived that day and were from then on considered outcasts from society. Most of these eventually founded a small village somewhere in the Razhin Jungle.

The Second Battle of Nazada

Prophecy
The world united, to battle irked.
Red ones lead, for honor charge.
A hope renewed, the spotted fall.

Dark Prophecy
Veiled in transient evanescence
A cold white menace lingers

Great King Emanpugnikam led the second battle against Nazada in the year 1993 [2:1501]. In a move only prophecy could have manipulated and under the orders of the Lunari Kathiv, fifty thousand horsemen joined the ranks of the Red Exemplars. On the morn of battle, they charged toward Nazada and broke through the strong defenses. Every Red Exemplar was killed in that battle but their deaths were not in vain. The rest of the army followed after them and managed to advance through the freezing rain of Mathol and assault the dark fortress. The three Lunari which accompanied the army killed Mathol. When Mathol died, he unleashed the white plague which killed many who survived the battle. It also spread across all of Etnyben and the land was never as populated as it had been.
