Voth's Castle

The castle or fortress of Voth was built on a mountain which rose in the center of Lake Corpiscus in Sarda. The western half of the mountain appeared to be missing and left a great cliff. A great stone causeway led from the southern shore of the lake to the castle.

The lower regions of the castle were quite extensive and contained a large arena in which a large number of dragons lived. Inside the mountain, many winding passageways were carved as dungeons and storehouses.

From the top of the tall cliff rose the highest tower of the castle. The exact height is still unknown but using freefall calculations based on the approximate fifteen to twenty second drop, the top floor would be somewhere between 3,617 and 6,430 feet. However, these calculations could be slightly off since the exact gravity of Nebulum is unknown.

That is one immensly huge structure. In comparison, the CN Tower is 1,815 feet, the Empire State Building is a mere 1,050 feet, the Sears Tower is 1,454 feet, and the Taipei 101 is 1670 feet. Now the question is how was Voth capable of such a feat of engineering using the technology available on Nebulum?

Regardless of how he managed to do it, we do know that Voth had many years and an almost endless supply of Barbidon laborers.
