Yanna'Reh is the character of an ancient legend which tells about how she was the most beautiful woman in the world. Her beauty was discovered by Icavor who claimed she was more beautiful than a flower he had which he claimed came from the Lunari world.

She had fair skin, curly red hair, grey eyes, and a freckled face. Her parents were Bathor and Foina'Dor and they lived in a remote area of Etnyben where her father farmed arvdil. When she met Icavor, her father demanded he bring back the hide of a dragon before he could marry his daughter. Icavor left and returned five years later with the hides of three dragons. Bathor, loath to have his daughter taken by this man, was about to send him on another quest when Yanna'Reh said a dress of blue and purple would be all she wanted. Icavor then left and returned a year later with the dress.

Icavor and Yanna'Reh were married and lived on a hill across from her parents. One stormy night, Icavor went to investigate a mysterious figure at her parent's home and she watched from a window as the house was set on fire. Icavor fought the dark figure but was pushed back to his house. He died in the doorway and Yanna'Reh avenged his death by killing the dark figure who called himself Zovanik.

Legend says that the heart shaped Lake Icavor was filled with the tears of Yanna'Reh. She lived in sorrow for eight years before she died. According to legend, the flower was planted on her grave.

It is wondered if Yanna'Reh may have unknowingly been able to do magic or if it was the effect of the flower since later there were reports of her spirit guarding the precious plant from any dark enemy who came too close. It was this guarding that Josloy used when he took the flower against the fortress of the Dark Magicians.
